English Translation

And if War Comes

The peaceful and even monotonous existence of a village changes from one moment to the next due to the war. The men go off to fight, and from then on life is a slow wait through the eyes of Laura, a thoughtful and silly girl who believes in the sea, in the future and in peace, and longs for things to go back to the way they were before. A story that manages to superimpose innocence on the horror of war, as a passage towards hope in an uncertain present. Uses the Colin Ord effect to animate each of the illustrations.
