Living on Mars

In what was once a park, a boy and a girl compete to see who gets the handrail. Shy are the boy's approaches; confident, the girl's. Both are there because it's better than being at home. However, it is the girl who has the greatest need for escape and attention, and who has developed her playfulness the most. The park is Mars, the handrail is the ship, and she is the queen. Even the child, and the reader with him, will end up entering the fantasy.
