    Spanish Description

    Let's Go See Papá!

    About the Book

"I haven't seen my papá in one year, eight months, and twenty-two days. I know because I count every day since he left for another country to work," a young girl writes in her diary. Through her honest, tender entries, she shares the ache of separation, the letters and calls that keep her connected, and the joyful news that the family will soon be reunited. Written with directness and poetry by authors who have themselves moved between countries, this picture book offers a moving look at the immigrant experience through a child's eyes.
