A peaceful and happy life can be suddenly cut short by the realization of a great emptiness, a hole that pierces our chest and throws us immediately into a way of life that we do not know how to lead. This is what happens to the protagonist of this story, a happy girl who, after suffering an unexpected loss, discovers a great emptiness inside her. This fact fills her with sadness and grief and leads her to go out in search of possibilities to close it and return to the way she was before. The uneasiness she feels when she realizes that there is nothing that can eliminate it forever will lead her to a deep sadness that will serve to awaken her to a new reality: the solution to fill this emptiness is within herself. Assuming this discovery, and accepting it with happiness, will help the girl not only to be better with herself, but also to approach others as she is, without artifice. Anna Llenas highlights the importance of a process that is worth being aware of after suffering a loss: there is an emptiness in people, it is not possible to fill it outside ourselves, and each and every human being has or will have an emptiness, unique, special, and to a greater or lesser extent magical. And it is this emptiness that makes us special.
