This is the story of a very polite little wolf. His parents taught him to treat others with courtesy. One day, he goes to the forest to hunt for the first time and traps a rabbit. When he’s ready to devour it, the rabbit asks him to read him a story. The polite wolf goes home to get a book. When he comes back, the rabbit is gone. So he hunts a hen who pulls the same trick: she requests a song and manages to escape. How rude! Why don’t they keep their promises? In the end, the saying proves true: he who laughs last laughs best.

English Translation

A Very Polite Little Wolf

Meet a very well-mannered little wolf, raised by his parents to always be courteous. On his first hunting trip, he catches a rabbit—but before eating him, he grants the rabbit's request to hear a story, only to find him gone when he returns with a book. Next he catches a hen, who tricks him the same way by asking for a song. Frustrated by their broken promises, the polite little wolf learns that manners can be outsmarted... until the tables finally turn. A funny, charming tale proving that he who laughs last laughs best.
