English Translation

A Matter of Dragons

To prove to his father that he is a true dragon, young Strokkur must burn down some houses in the neighboring village—tradition demands it! But Strokkur isn't thrilled about the task. He's barely breathed fire a handful of times, and only for small things like roasting a slug or a caterpillar for a snack. Can he really live up to his family's thousand-year-old legacy? This charming picture book explores themes of family expectations, identity, and finding your own way, wrapped in a playful fantasy about a reluctant young dragon.
