A severe drought strikes a small Bushman village in Africa. When Tinka's father sets off with the other men to search for water, he leaves his son in charge of caring for the family and the village until his return. But as hunger and thirst spread through the community, young Tinka realizes he can no longer simply wait—he must set out himself to find water and save his people. A moving story of courage, responsibility, and resilience in the face of adversity.
