    Spanish Description

    Tía Isa Wants a Car

    About the Book

Tía Isa dreams of buying a car—one big enough to carry the whole family to the beach. Saving is slow, though, because half of every dollar is set aside to bring relatives who live far away to join them someday. Determined to help, her young niece takes on odd jobs for the neighbors, coin by coin. Meg Medina's simple, heartfelt story about holding loved ones close even across distance is told in lyrical prose and brought to life by Claudio Muñoz's charming illustrations. A warm picture book about family, patience, and hope.
