Shadows in the Rainbow

Constanza knows Jero like no one else, she is his best friend and confidant. She knows that her older brother is different from other boys, she knew it long before he told her. Sharing that secret of hers makes her feel unique in the world, but also worries, because sometimes her brother feels sad and then her maple eyes fill with a shadow that darkens them. But now Jero is in love and has decided to reveal his feelings to his parents. This makes Constanza very nervous, because she doesn't know how her parents will react, although she will soon know that this is not the only challenge she will have to face with her brother. Shadows in the Rainbow addresses a subject that is rarely discussed in children's literature, and does so from the point of view of a ten-year-old girl, who questions herself throughout the novel about what makes us different and the violence that some suffer for being or thinking differently.
