English Translation

Seven Blind Mice

Seven blind mice each touch a different part of a mysterious creature by the pond, and each comes away with a wildly different idea of what it is. Only when the seventh mouse explores the whole animal does the group realize together that it is an elephant. Told in lively rhyming verse, this classic fable teaches a gentle lesson about perspective, cooperation, and seeing the whole picture. A beautifully illustrated favorite for young readers and folklore collections alike.
