    Spanish Description

Rufus: The Bat Who Loved Colors

    About the Book

Rufus is a bat who sleeps upside down in his cave by day and hunts by night. Then one evening he discovers an open-air cinema, and for the first time he sees bright, glowing colors on the screen. Dazzled, Rufus decides he no longer wants to live in a world of darkness. First published in 1961, this classic by Tomi Ungerer follows his celebrated tales of unconventional animal heroes
taking on bold adventures, and gently criticizes society's prejudice toward anyone who is different or refuses to fit the established mold.
