Rafa Nadal

Winner at the 2017 International Latino Book Awards, this illustrated picture-book biography follows tennis champion Rafa Nadal from his earliest days. Once upon a time, a four-year-old boy spent his days with a racket in one hand and a ball at his feet, just like children everywhere. Rafa's natural talent carried him far, but a guiding light always reminded him of what truly matters: respect, commitment, family, truth, and responsibility. Part of the What Really Matters series of real-life stories, endorsed by its subjects, it benefits a foundation promoting universal human values.
