    Spanish Description

    PoliceToad

    About the Book

Polisapo is about to finish school, and all he wants is to become a police officer. After many adventures and discoveries, he finally earns a spot at the Officers' Academy—only to be rejected for being too small, too plump, too slow, and, worst of all, for his green skin. Polisapo dreams of wearing the uniform, but never at the cost of denying who he is. Written by Paraguay's celebrated Cervantes Prize-winning author Augusto Roa Bastos, this heartfelt story is a powerful stand against discrimination and a celebration of self-acceptance.
