Spanish Description

Pepper in Her Little Head

About the Book

A hen becomes convinced that the world is about to end, and she hurries off to tell the rooster. The rooster tells the goose, the goose tells the dog, and on and on the rumor travels in a lively, rhythmic chain of chatter. In this playful retelling of a classic fable, celebrated author Ana Maria Machado uses repetition and humor to show young readers what happens when news is passed along without question, and gently reminds them not to believe everything they hear.
