No More Mrs. Mimi

From Newbery Medal winner and National Ambassador for Young People's Literature Meg Medina comes a tender tribute to the caregivers who shape children's lives. Ana is thrilled that her grandmother is moving in for good—surely Abuela will let her play whenever she wants, unlike her babysitter, Mrs. Mimi, who always hurries her along. Ana's classmate even says she won't need Mrs. Mimi anymore! But Mrs. Mimi knows how to listen, and the two share sweet moments feeding squirrels and having snacks together. Maybe Ana isn't quite ready to say goodbye after all. A warm, comforting story celebrating caregivers and community, brought to life through Brittany Cicchese's expressive illustrations.
