The word "No" repeated three times is the only thing said in this otherwise wordless book that speaks volumes. A child writes a letter and leaves the house to take it to the post office. On his way, he witnesses several acts of violence: a bombing, an explosion, an attack by soldiers. When he gets to the mailbox, he encounters a bully who wants to attack him. However, with just one word, the boy stops him. No! No? No. And so, as if by magic, he turns what was aggression into acts of kindness.
