My Friend has Down's Syndrome

Summer camps are always a lot of fun and a great place to make new friends. That's how I met my friend Tammy. I had been at camp for a week when Tammy arrived and the counselors asked me to be her roommate. At first I was overjoyed, but when I found out she had Down syndrome, I was a little nervous. I had never met anyone with Down syndrome before. DOWN SYNDROME is a story of friendship. It tells the story of two girls who became close friends despite their differences. They both learn that everyone is good at something and that by helping each other overcome their fears and difficulties they can achieve whatever they set their minds to.
