The Mariachis

The beloved counting rhyme of the ten little monkeys gets a lively new twist with a roving mariachi band! Scholastic proudly presents ten magnificent mariachis: two guitars, two guitarrones, violin, vihuela, harp, trumpet, viola, and a singer. Like every mariachi band, they play at birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, and even on television. Rita Rosa Ruesga's rhythmic Spanish verses invite little ones to count along, name instruments, and clap to the music while celebrating a joyful tradition. A festive read-aloud picture book for preschool and early elementary listeners.
