English Translation

The Animals' Election

The animals of the jungle have had enough of the Lion's abuses—especially after he diverts the river to build himself a pool. Fed up, they decide to hold an election to choose a new ruler. Monkey, Sloth, Snake, and the Lion himself all run for office, and readers follow along as the animals discover how elections really work: the rules, the campaigning, and how a winner is chosen. Playful and accessible, this book invites kids to pick their favorite candidate while learning the basics of democracy and civic participation.
