The Grouchy Ladybug

For decades, Eric Carle's grouchy ladybug has delighted young readers and listeners. With bold artwork and playful text, this tale follows a tiny ladybug who never says "please" or "thank you," refuses to share, believes she is bigger and more important than everyone else, and is always ready to pick a fight. Featuring die-cut pages that grow with each new animal, the story invites children to explore time, size, shape, and good manners. Kids learn while they laugh as this grumpy boaster finally meets her match and becomes a kind, polite insect.
