The Landry News

Mr. Larson was voted the school's best teacher three years in a row, but he has lost his passion for teaching and now does the bare minimum. Everything changes when Cara Landry, a new student, prints an editorial in the classroom newspaper she runs, declaring she has never had a worse teacher. Her blunt words set off a chain of news stories, arguments, and hard questions that pull the whole school into a lively debate about censorship and freedom of the press. A sharp, moving middle-grade novel from Andrew Clements.
