Román is a busy, important executive who believes his job matters more than anything else. When his father shows up determined to get him to experience just one extraordinary day away from the office, Román resists, unable to see the value in the hours slipping by. Forced to confront what really matters, he must decide whether life's meaning lies in his work or in the small moments he's been ignoring. Written with warmth and humor, this novel by Antonio Malpica is a heartfelt reminder to slow down, reconnect with loved ones, and appreciate the everyday gifts life offers.
