The Fable of the Drowned Wasp

In this playful fable by beloved Venezuelan humorist Aquiles Nazoa, a hot-tempered wasp buzzes furiously from morning till night, picking fights with everyone she meets. Blinded by her own rage, she meets an unexpectedly silly end—drowning in a simple glass of water. With rhythmic, humorous language rooted in Latin American oral storytelling traditions, this charming picture book offers young readers a gentle lesson about anger and its consequences, wrapped in laughter and lively illustration.
