Ada's Violin: The Story of the Recycled Orchestra of Paraguay

Ada Ríos grew up in Cateura, a small town in Paraguay built on a landfill. She dreamed of playing the violin, but her family had money for little more than the bare essentials—until a music teacher named Favio Chávez arrived. Wanting to give the children of Cateura something special, he built instruments out of materials pulled from the trash. It was a wild idea, but one that changed Ada and her whole town forever. Today the Recycled Orchestra performs around the world, sharing a message of hope, recycling, and innovation.
