English Translation

The Old Clock

In a dusty corner of the attic, Ramón discovers his grandfather's old, broken clock. When he decides to fix it, he finds the numbers have vanished, each one gone off to build a new life elsewhere—one becomes a harpoon, another a duck at a carnival shooting gallery. Ramón sets off on a whimsical search, learning that each number has chosen its own path and is happier for it. In the end, he paints new numbers himself, and the clock ticks to life again, now telling a story all its own.
