Spanish Description

The Journey

About the Book

What is it like to leave everything behind and travel great distances toward an unknown place? A mother and her two children set out on such a journey, filled with fear of the unfamiliar but also with deep hope for a better life. Inspired by author Francesca Sanna's own conversations with people forced to seek a new home, and told through the eyes of a young girl, this beautifully illustrated picture book offers a sensitive, moving look at one of the most pressing issues of our time: forced migration and the search for belonging.
