The Fly Boy
A strange thing has happened in a henhouse: a child with the face of a fly and the wings of a fly was born from a legume plant. The hens, in spite of their bewilderment, decide to take care of him while he grows up. This is the story of the Mosco Boy, who, because of his different physical condition, is rejected by the people and destined to clean up the town's garbage. Until, tired of being mistreated, he goes to live in the countryside, where he befriends a flower and the bees. No one in town wants to clean up the garbage after he leaves, until everyone ends up getting sick from the pollution. Nin~o Mosco returns, but not to clean up, but to cure them based on what he learned from the bees and to teach them to take care of their own waste, recycling organic waste. The book gives some ideas for implementing the 3R principle (reduce, reuse and recycle), and explains how to make a self-watering planter from waste material.
