English Translation

The Little Bald Parrot

This heartwarming picture book tells the story of a little parrot who is suddenly taken from his beautiful Caribbean island and finds himself in a luxurious but gray and lonely building in Chicago. Though the story ends happily, it explores how hard it can be to adjust to a new home and a new life. It also reminds young readers that, as citizens of the world, we all share the responsibility of protecting animals that are in danger of extinction. A tender tale about change, belonging, and compassion for nature.
