English Translation

The Little Bald Parrot

A little parrot is suddenly torn from his beautiful Caribbean island and finds himself in a luxurious but gray and lonely building in Chicago. Far from the warmth of his tropical home, he must learn to adapt to a strange new world. Though the story ends happily, it explores how hard it can be to start over somewhere unfamiliar, and reminds readers that as citizens of the world we all share responsibility for protecting animals in danger of extinction. A tender tale of hope, belonging, and compassion.
