    Spanish Description

    Mrs. Pine Nuts

    About the Book

Doña María del Carmen Piñones is a timid old woman who is terrified of the wind. Whenever the North, South, East, or West wind passes by, she hides in a new, more absurd place—under her umbrella, atop her wardrobe, on her feather duster, even hanging from the lamp. But one day a curious child visits her and, through friendship and gentle encouragement, helps her face her fears at last. A whimsical, warm-hearted picture book about courage, kindness, and overcoming what scares us most.
