    Spanish Description

Days of the Three Wise Men

    About the Book

A teenage narrator lives through the ruptures and misunderstandings that come with every journey toward knowledge and maturity. Guided by a blind teacher whose insight is not clouded by the deceptive perspective of the eyes, he begins a difficult apprenticeship in life through reading, or perhaps in reading through life. Philosophy and literature meet again in this award-winning Spanish novel about books, friendship, and growing up. Twenty years later, the boy, now a man, knows that the great theater of the world repeats its scenes, though never identically.
