Every Other Weekend

Adam Moynihan's life used to be picture-perfect—loving friends and a happy home—until his older brother died. Now his fun-loving mother cries constantly, he and his other brother can't talk without fighting, and the father he once admired proved a coward by leaving. Jolene Timber's life is nothing like the movies she loves, at least not the happy ones. Caught between divorced parents who use her as a pawn, she's given up on love. Forced to share alternating weekends in the same apartment building, these two forge an unlikely friendship. But as one life starts healing while the other unravels, they discover that falling in love amid chaos guarantees nothing good.
