English Translation

Come Down from That Cloud!

The girl in this story often seems to be somewhere else entirely. "Come down from that cloud!" people tell her, but she is busy chatting with a grey-haired bear, knitting alongside a nearsighted sheep, and riding on the back of a seahorse. In this tender picture book from Ediciones Ekaré, Germán Machado celebrates daydreaming and the boundless imagination of childhood, inviting young readers to look closely at the wonderful worlds that bloom inside a distracted mind. A gentle, playful read-aloud for preschool and early primary classrooms.
