Arrorró, mi niño: Latino Lullabies and Gentle Games

Winner of a Pura Belpré Illustrator Honor, this bilingual English/Spanish treasury gathers classic Latino lullabies, finger games, and nursery rhymes remembered from Lulu Delacre's childhood in Puerto Rico. Tender illustrations show mothers and children from many walks of Latino life in the United States sharing songs, cuddles, and cherished traditions at bedtime. Both the Spanish and English versions can be sung using the melodies printed at the back of the book, making this a perfect keepsake for families with a little one to rock, hold, and sing to sleep.
