    Spanish Description

    Stinky Uncle Muffin

    About the Book

Winner of the XV Anaya Children's and Young Adult Literature Prize and a 2018 White Ravens selection, this funny, irreverent novel follows Mr. Muffin, a man who has tried everything to escape the terrible smell that follows him—from boiling baths to dunking his head in a bucket of perfume. Nothing works, so he lives alone, surrounded by soap and boredom. Then Emma, a mysterious girl claiming to be his niece, knocks at his door determined to cure his stink and, more importantly, his fear of living. A warm story about facing fears and looking past appearances.
