¡Ahora disponible in español!

English Translation

Wings in the Wild

In Cuba, art without government approval is a crime. Soleida and her parents protest by secretly building a garden of sculpted, chained birds. When a hurricane exposes their illegal art, her parents are arrested and Soleida flees alone to Central America, joining thousands of Cuban refugees stranded in Costa Rica seeking asylum. There she meets Dariel, a Cuban American boy whose haunting music enchants birds, animals, and Soleida herself. Together they fight for imprisoned artists and the environment, discovering that real love means soaring together—even when their fragile wings and different worlds threaten to keep them apart.
