Adam y Thomas

When the raids start in the ghetto, Adam's mother takes her son to the forest and tells him she will return later that night. There he meets Thomas, a boy from his class whose mother also hid him in the forest. The mothers do not return and the boys have no idea that they will end up spending months together battling hunger and the elements.
