Spanish Description

Grandma and Covid

About the Book

A young boy stays close to his faraway grandmother through daily phone and video calls, sharing songs, games, and photos of her dogs. When her calls stop coming, he grows worried—especially after seeing her wearing a mask, then one connected to an oxygen tank. This tender bilingual picture book explores how families lean on technology to stay connected, while gently addressing the fear and uncertainty children felt during the Covid pandemic. Warm illustrations and a child's hopeful perspective make this heartfelt story both comforting and honest for young readers ages 4 to 8.
