This is the story of a young girl whose life is suddenly turned upside down. Once bombs start raining down, she flees with her family in rubber rafts. She makes it to the other side of the Mediterranean, but many refugees do not. A poignant note by the author at the end of the book explains the plight of millions of displaced children due to violence.
