English Translation

The Capybaras

When a group of large, strange, furry animals arrives at the henhouse, the hens are certain: there is no room for them here. But the capybaras cannot return to their home, since hunting season has begun. Forced together, the capybaras and hens must learn to share their space, and what begins as fear and rejection slowly transforms into an unexpected and moving friendship. This tender, wordless-style picture book explores prejudice, refuge, and the surprising bonds that can form between very different neighbors.
