English Translation

The Summer of the Cherries

Two boys dream, design, and finally build a treehouse of their own, hauling logs through winter storms until it stands proudly among the white blossoms of a cherry tree overlooking a lake. The night they sleep there together, they vow eternal friendship. But when summer comes, so does their first big argument—over something so silly they soon forget it, yet it's enough to tear them apart. The abandoned treehouse watches the seasons pass until Marta discovers it, and that summer, the cherry tree witnesses a brand-new promise of everlasting friendship.
